Become A Volunteer
Apply to become a volunteer and join the team of the BITS & PRETZELS Founders Festival.
The Bits & Pretzels 2015 Volunteer Program puts you right in the middle of all of the action with full conference access, and deep into a network of fellow students who, just like you, are inspired to be the industry leaders of tomorrow.
As a Student Volunteer, you will help support the conference and have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals, creators, educators, visionaries, and each other. Students who demonstrate leadership, service, and passion for starting there own company are encouraged to apply!
This exclusive experience is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who are at least 18 years of age (on or before 27 September 2015). Qualified students can apply to volunteer for 16 hours (approximately) during the conference.

Age
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older (on or before 27 September 2015).
Full-Time Student Status
Applicants must be high school, undergraduate, or graduate students enrolled full time for at least one semester during the 2014-2015 academic year (Summer 2014 – Spring 2015).
To inform our applicants as early as possible if their application is accepted we have certain deadlines that must be complied. This ensures that every volunteer has the possibility to take care his or her accommodation early enough. There might be a second application period depending on the amount of applications in the first run, but we strictly recommend to apply as early as possible.
7 September 2015: Application Deadline
The Student Volunteer application must be completed by 10pm.
10 September 2015: Application Results Sent
You will receive email notification at the same address you provided in your application. Please adjust your spam filter so that any messages from bitsandpretzels.com email addresses will not be placed in your junk-mail folder.
Serve the Conference
Commit 16 hours (approximately, without orientation) of volunteer service to the conference.
Attend Mandatory Orientation
Saturday, 26 September 2015 (location and time will be announced in August). Please plan your travel to arrive in Munich NO LATER THAN NOON on 26 September, so that you will be able to check in before this mandatory meeting time.
BITS & PRETZELS 2015
All day, 27 - 29 September 2015
Depart the location no earlier than late evening (after 5 pm), 29 September. We recommend that you stay until Wednesday, 30 September so you can celebrate a successful conference with your new BITS & PRETZELS colleagues on Tuesday evening.
Be Punctual
Arrive at the Student Volunteer Office at least 30 minutes before each of your scheduled shift times with a smile on your face and a passion to serve!
